What is the eligibility criteria to pursue MBA from IIMs?

Hi, Find below the eligibility criteria to pursue MBA from IIMs: The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) (It may also referred to as Persons with Disability (PWD) category)], awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Please note that each IIM shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The process may include: - Written Ability Test (WAT) - Group Discussions (GD) - Personal Interviews (PI). Performance in CAT examination is an important component in the admission process. IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission process. The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs. Please not that all the top B-schools in India including IIMs do give very strong weightage to students with work experience for MBA admission. However please remember to get consideration for work experience you need to have atleast 1 year of full time work experience after graduation. Hi, In order to improve your English you can do the following things: Start reading good English magazines and news papers, and while reading underline the words for which you do not know the meaning, then refer to the dictionary and find out the meaning of the word. You should start watching English news channel, this will help you to know,how to modulate your voice while speaking. Make a list of frequently used words that you find difficult to pronounce and ask someone who speaks the language well to pronounce them for you. Read aloud in English for 15-20 minutes every day, this practice will help you to pronounce the words correctly.
