It is better if you take an entrance test as mentioned by Pratik. But if you are a person with work-ex you may try for correspondence course.

Well it mainly depends on your CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT etc.scores. according to your score you can apply to various institutions

In order to pursue MBA,the first basic step is to register yourself to various online entrance exams mentioned above. Also try gathering a work experience along with it.it gives a generalized view and feel of all the prospective fields you have for your future.
