The basic eligibility to take an admission into an MBBS course in India is 10+2 or equivalent qualification with Biology as one of the subjects. After this, in most of the good medical institutes, you'll have to appear in an entrance test. Since last year, Ministry of HRD & Education has introduced

- You need to pass 12th in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 60% .
- You should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.
- You need to sit for entrance exam such as AIIMS Entrance Exam,
