Hi, In order to pursue masters degree from universities in US you need to have relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university with good academic record preferably 70%-80% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned tests: 1. GRE. 2. TOEFL or IELTS. For admission in MS program in good American University it is good to have GRE score of 320 plus.Please remember with GRE score of less than 300 you will not be able to get admission in good university. TOEFL or IELTS are the english proficiency tests so you need to take any one of these test. For admission in masters degree in American university you need to have IELTS score of 7 with no individual band below 6.5 or TOEFL score of 90 with no band less than 20. Please note the eligibility criteria for admission may vary from university to university. As universities in US have 2 admission intake in a year namely: Fall (September) intake. Spring (January) intake. So it would be always advisable to take these tests atleast 4-5 months in advance of your planned admission intake so that you may not miss any application deadlines. The application deadlines in American universities for international students are set by the department delivering each program, and these deadlines may be as early as 12 months before the program begins. In most of the universities the deadline for fall intake is July and for spring intake it is November.
