Punjabi University is good for chemistry master's, but certainly not the best. LPU on the other hand offers M.Sc. (Hons. ). Chemistry with eligibility as 55% (Bachelor's degree with chemistry). Hi Harvir, Candidates should have passed B.Sc. with Physics as major subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Management or Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. All the best.

Basic eligibility for M.Sc. in chemistry is as follows: Candidates should have passed BOT/B.Sc OT/Both from a recognized university with a minimumof 50% marks in aggregate. With minimum 50% marks or 3 years of degree in B.Sc.

There are approximately 270 seats (including all colleges) for Chemistry in DU. Among these, 50 % seats are filled up on the basis of merit based on marks obtained by the candidates either in general or honours in chemistry. Aggregate should be 60% or above and same cut-off for Chemistry as a major

The course duration of M.Sc Chemistry is 2 years.

Number of seats are 60.

The eligibility of this course is on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.
