Hi dear,
There are no such limitations that a BA Candidate cannot do MBA. You need to clear the Management entrance test like MAT or CMAT or CAT or XAT. Also, it would be helpful for an economics candidate to do MBA in finance. Because everything in finance revolves around economics.
