What is the eligibility criteria to pursue Ph.D in Archeology?

If you wish to pursue PhD in Archeology then you should have completed a master's degree. Some colleges allow candidates from all academic backgrounds who have cleared the entrance exam. However, some colleges may allow only those candidates who have studies Archaeology. As per the lastest UGC guide
