The eligibility criteria to seek direct admission for the B.A. in Political Science course at MCC Chennai is a pass in the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination, with any group in +2. Preference is given to students who have studied Political Science. The upper age limit for admission to UG courses is 21 years as on 1st July 2025, with relaxation of 5 years permitted for differently-abled and 3 years for women students. Candidates from Boards other than Tamil Nadu State Board, CBSE, AISSCE, and ISCE must produce an Eligibility Certificate from the University of Madras.
