To be eligible for direct admission to the B.Tech. in Biotechnology course at SRM Ramapuram, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI)
- Have attained the age of 16 years and 6 months on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held
- Have a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM / PMB/PCB in their Higher Secondary examination
- Be first rank students of all the central and state boards in India, top 10,000 rankers in IIT JEE, top rankers in each district of Tamil Nadu, or exemplary sports persons at National and International level.
