- Candidates with UP Domicile who have passed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD) marks, or
- Candidates with UP Domicile who have passed a B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University by UGC, with at least 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD) marks and have passed the 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
