The eligibility criteria for direct admission to the BNYS course at Lucknow University is as follows:
- The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects recognised by Central/State Government.
- The candidate should have obtained not less than 50 percent marks in aggregate in the Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) at the qualifying examination.
- However, the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes shall be given a relaxation of 5 percent in the marks required for eligibility.
