Candidates should have completed a minimum of 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. The upper age limit is 25 years. (Relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST candidate and upto 3 years for MBC/OBC candidates.) Candidates should have a pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (academic) conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other equivalent examination accepted by the University, thereto with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC, ST, MBC, OBC candidates) in aggregate of the Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Botany & Zoology) and should have English as one of the subjects.
