What is the eligibility criteria to seek direct admission for the BSc course at Annasaheb Vartak College of Arts, Commerce, Science?

<p>The eligibility criteria to seek direct admission for the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) course at Annasaheb Vartak College of Arts, Commerce, Science are as follows:- For B.Sc. (Information Technology): A candidate should have passed 12th standard examination with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subjects and secured not less than 45% marks in aggregate for open category and 40% marks in aggregate for reserved category candidates.- For B.Sc. (Computer Science): A candidate should have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination in Science stream with Mathematics and Statistics as one of the subjects.- For B.Sc. (Biotechnology): A candidate should have passed Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination in Science stream.Admission will be on merit, based on order of preference as follows: 1. Aggregate Marks at H.S.C. or equivalent.2. Aggregate Marks in Science Group (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology).3. Marks in Mathematics and Statistics and Physics/Marks in Biology and Chemistry.4. Marks in Mathematics and Statistics/Marks in Biology. </p><p>Candidates who have passed Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Engineering/Computer Science and Allied Branches are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year of the B.Sc. (I.T.) degree course. However, the Diploma should be recognised by the Board of Technical Education or any other recognised Government Body with a minimum of 45% aggregate for open category candidates and 40% aggregate for reserved category candidates.</p>
