<p>The eligibility criteria for direct admission to the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engg. course at Maharana Pratap Engg. College is as follows: - For Regular Entry (4 Years): The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of these - Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/Agriculture/ Engg. Graphics/ Business Studies. They should have obtained at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. - For Lateral Entry (3 Years): The candidate must have a Diploma with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in any branch of Engg. and Technology, or passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject. - For Lateral Entry (3 Years): The candidate must have passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.</p>
