I. Level I For becoming Teacher for Classes I-V : Primary Teacher (PRT):
1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and Passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 31 August, 2009.

HTAT is an exam organized state government for the job of headmaster in a state college. Every year this exam is organized for seats of headmaster in a government college in the state. Candidates who have completed their graduation from recognized college in any course with more than 50% marks are eligible for the exam including general candidates and SC/ST candidates (45% marks required). Candidates must be citizens of India. Candidates must have few years of experience in teaching in any school or college. All the candidates must have completed their B.Ed. Head Teacher Aptitude Test is conducted by various state Governments is to recruit Head Teacher Class III in the subordinate services of the Directorate of Primary Education, District Primary Education Committees and Municipal Primary Education Committees. Following are the requirement or eligibility criteria to take Head Teacher Aptitude Test (HTAT) Examination:
The Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
A graduation degree from recognized university.
Teaching Experience is required in Primary or seconat=ry Education.
B.Ed is mandatory to take Head Teacher Aptitude Test
At least 50% in aggregate marks are required.
There is no age limit for this exam.
Passing percentage for the exam for general category is 60% and 55% for SC/ST.

2 years agoThe Directorate of Primary Education, District Primary Education Committees, and Municipal Primary Education Committees conduct aptitude tests to hire Head Teachers Class III for their subordinate positions. The following qualifications must be MET in order to appear in HTAT: (A) The age should be no older than 42. In many states, it could change. (b) The candidate must hold a four-year Bachelor's degree in elementary education in addition to a Bachelor's degree in arts, Science, or commerce from an institution of higher learning that is accredited in India or overseas. -
