  • The eligibility criteria to appear for the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) exam are as follows:
    A) Educational Qualification:
    For Primary Level Teachers (Class I to V): Candidates should have passed Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with a minimum of 50 per cent marks and should have a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed) or Diploma in Education (Special Education). For Upper Primary Level Teachers (Class VI to VIII): Candidates should have a graduation degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed) or Bachelor of Elementary Education

    REET Level 1 (Classes I to V)

    * Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or final year appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or * Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or * Diploma in Education (Special Education)

    No minimum age limit

    REET Level 2 (Classes VI to VIII)

    * Graduation degree or final year appearing in D.El.Ed Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in B.Ed or Graduation with at least 45% marks (for SC/ST candidates) and passed or appearing in B.Ed, in accordance with NCTE Regulations or * Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.El.Ed or * Senior Secondary  with minimum 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. (ITEP)

    No minimum age limit
