What is the eligibility criterion for admission in Jadavpur University?

This year, I completed my 12th from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education. I got 60% overall and 53% in PCM. I belong to OBC. Next year, if I appear for WBJEE and get a rank under 1000, can I get admission in Jadavpur University?

    Jadavpur University, Kolkata, offers Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), M.Phil and Ph.D. programmes in various streams including Science, Engineering, Architecture, Education and Humanities & Social Science.
    Minimum Eligibility Criteria for UG and PG courses:
    Candidates applying tough coursesmust be Class XII pass with at least 50% marks or equivalent from a recognised university or board. Minimum eligibility to apply forPG coursesis Graduation with at least 50% marks or equivalent from a recognised university.
