What is the eligibility for admission to B.Sc at Visva Bharati University?

<p>Visva Bharati University offers BSc courses for three-year, and four-year undergraduate degree courses. In addition, the university also offers a five year BSc + MSc integrated course. The basic eligibility criteria required to get admission to BSc courses are candidates should complete Class 12 with good scores in the subjects they want to specialise in. However, the eligibility criteria for each BSc specialisation are slightly different from each other. Admission to BSc courses also depends on the scores candidates secured in CUET and the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST). The eligibility criteria for BSc courses are as follows:&nbsp;</p><ul><li><strong>Physics-</strong> At least 70% aggregate overall and 75% marks in average of Physics and Mathematics at Class 12.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Chemistry-</strong> Minimum 60% aggregate overall and 60% marks in Chemistry in Class 12 + Passing marks in Mathematics.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Mathematics-</strong> Minimum 60% aggregate overall and 60% marks in Chemistry in Class 12 + Passing marks in Maths.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Botany- </strong>Minimum 60% aggregate overall and 60% marks in Life Science/Biology in Class 12.</li><li><strong>Zoology- </strong>Minimum 60% aggregate overall and 60% marks in Life Science/ Biological in Class 12.</li><li><strong>Statistics-</strong> At least 60% aggregate overall and 60% marks in Statistics and passing marks in Mathematics&nbsp;<strong>OR</strong> 60% aggregate overall and 60% marks in Mathematics if Statistics is not offered at Class 12.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Computer Science-</strong> Minimum 65% aggregate in Clas12, have Mathematics as one of the subject in higher senior secondary, and minimum 65% in Mathematics or 75% in CS/IT.</li><li><strong>Yoga- </strong>A pass in Class 12 from a recognised board or equivalent.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Physical Education-</strong> 50% aggregate in Class 12 level from any recognised council/ board/ university. Age: 21 year as on 1st July of the year of admission.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Five-year integrated MSc-</strong> Regular Science students with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent grade Class 12.&nbsp;</li></ul>
