    Some of the options other than medicine are:
    Biomedical Scientist/Engineer: It is an application of engineering to medicine. They work with other healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, therapists and technicians. Do a B.Sc. in Biological Science and then an M.Sc. in Biomedical Science.
    Botanists: Concerned mainly with the study of plants and plant life. Do a B.Sc. and then M.Sc. in Botany. Environmental Scientists: One of its specialised fields is: Environmental planning, which involves planning, designing and developing systems and procedures to counteract the pollution.
