    Anybody who has cleared the Class 12 board examination in the Science background with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects and secured at least 50 to 60% marks, can go ahead and apply for this course at several reputed institutions across the country.

    You will also have to clear entrance tests conducted at the national/state/institution levels with a good rank to be able to get admission to the best colleges such as the IITs and the NITs. It is important to note that the minimum eligibility criteria is higher for these institutions, around 75% marks in Class 12.
