Hello Firoze, for eligibility to get admission under lateral entry scheme directly inter 2nd year of engineering is passing of the Diploma of engineering in the concerned subject. Invariably directorate of technical education of the concerned state puts out a table on the website indicating which branches of Diploma will make a student eligible to seek admission in which branches of engineering for graduation. You just need to look up on the website of your state to know the answer. Best wishes to you.
