    Any science and commerce student can do BCA. You should have opted maths in high school because maths is a mandatory subject in BCA in many colleges. If you are good at mathematics then it's easy for you, otherwise, I would suggest you practice it regularly because programming requires maths skills.

    The general eligibility criteria to be eligible for applying to BCA, you must have completed your HSC (+2) examination equivalent (Diploma degree), with a minimum 50% marks in total and also having mathematics as a subject in the qualifying examination.

    The general eligibility criteria for most of the colleges of BCA is that a candidate must score at least 45% in their +2. But remember that the criteria is different for every university. The criteria for top colleges/universities is that a candidate must have studied mathematics in +2 and must score at least 60-70% in +2. So, it depends upon in which college you are seeking admission.

    Eligibility:
    The general eligibility criteria to be eligible for applying for BCA course you must have completed your Higher Secondary (+2) Examination or equivalent (Diploma degree), with minimum 50% marks in total and also having Mathematics as subject in the qualifying examination. Also, as I mentioned earlier the above criteria is generally observed in most institutions offering the BCA degree but some institutions might also drop the minimum % marks required to get admission in the BCA course.
