What is the eligibility for becoming an IAS ?

This year I have passed 12th. I want to become an IAS officer. But I am confused which stream or which UGC course I should go for?

Dear Mayank, The minimum qualification required for IAS is graduation from a reputed university. There are two stages that you need to clear- preliminary exam and main exam. In order to prepare for IAS the minimum requirement is graduation from a recognized university and the age group is 21-30yrs.
