Air India has some set criteria for the hiring process:

Category

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

12th pass (10+2) from a recognised board.

A degree/diploma in Aviation, Hospitality, or Tourism is preferred.

Age Limit

Freshers: 18 to 27 years 

Experienced Cabin Crew: Up to 35 years (varies by airline policy).

Height Requirement

Female: Minimum 157 cm 

Male: Minimum 172 cm

Weight Requirement

Proportionate to height (BMI as per airline standards).

Vision Requirement

6/6 or 6/9 (corrected vision allowed with lenses).

Physical Fitness

Should be medically fit with no visible scars or tattoos or deformities.

Language Skills

Fluency in English and Hindi (knowledge of a foreign language can be a plus).

Selection Process

Written tests, group discussions, personal interviews, and medical examinations.

Training & Placement

Selected candidates go through Air India's in-house cabin crew training before they join active duty.
