To participate JEE Main Counselling, one should make sure the following things. Aspirant should have cleared the cutoff. The candidate should have secured the prescribed board percentile as per the category or must be in top 20 percentile in respective board. For 12th or equivalent exam, the candidate should have appeared for PCM as a compulsory subject. General candidates would require atleast 75% for NITs or GFTIs, however only 65% is required for other categories. This is the minimum eligibility to be the part of JEE Mains counselling procedure.
