The minimum age limit for JEE Main is 17 years. For General & OBC: As per the JEE Main Eligibility 2018, the candidates must have born after 1st October 1993 i.e. they must not age more than 24 Years while appearing in the exam. Originally every candidate has a maximum of three attempts for JEE Main. Candidates can appear twice for the entrance test in a year. Jul 18, 2018.

A student should have PCM or PCMB background in 12 and one must be a citizen of india. After 12 he/she is eligible to appear in JEE Mains and for advance one must qualify JEE Mains. A student can give at max 3 times JEE Mains and 2 times JEE advance.
