What is the eligibility for lateral entry in DTU? I am doing Diploma in mechanical production from AMU.

If you have above 60% in your Diploma, then you are eligible for LEET lateral entry exam of DTU.

You need to have more than 60% aggregate in your Diploma. And without clearing LEET exam, you are not eligible for admission in DTU.

The candidates seeking admission to B.Tech lateral entry programmes, must have passed a State Diploma examination of three years duration in any branch or any other examination equivalent, recognised by the Delhi Technological University with a minimum aggregate (aggregate of all six semesters / three years) of 60% (50% for SC/ST and 55% for OBC candidate). Note: Passing the said examination will be construed to imply the date of last examination (Annual or otherwise taken by the candidate leading to complete fulfilment of the requirements for the award of three years State Board Diploma). The admission to B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) programme shall be done by Delhi Technological University on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying Examination. In case more than one candidate has equal marks in the qualifying Examination, the candidate born earlier will be given preference. Note: In case of large number of applications, the admission committee may conduct screening test (consisting of physics, chemistry, and mathematics, general aptitude) to reduce the number to a sizeable one. (b) The list of candidates along with the waitlist candidates in each category will be displayed on website by 04-08-2016 and branch will be allotted to them as per the choice filled. The candidate should present themselves for admission before the admission committee on 08-08-2016 at 10 AM. (c) The candidates reporting for admission are required to bring the following documents in Original along with one set of self-attested copies. I. Class 10th Certificate (indicating the Date of Birth). ii. Diploma Certificate. iii. Mark sheets of Each Year/Semester of Diploma.iv. SC/ST/OBC/PWD Certificate. The completed form may be submitted till July 28, 2018.
