Hello Saibhavani, There are many universities that offer this course, but as per my experience , I would suggest Lovely Professional University for this course. I am not aware about Osmania University College for Women, I can share details about LPU. M.Sc. (Nutrition and Dietetics) at LPU helps in brewing the food-scientist by provoking the doing by yourself approach. The learner has to do a unique three term thesis keeping in mind the research centricity, for which the programme has been chosen. The college provides placement drives facility. These drives help in encouraging and build confidence. Some students are even placed in food industries, and food services and these placement drives indulge the students with spirits. Most of the students choose higher study or research field but the students who want placements, and even if they are focusing a little bit, they can get the placements from LPU. Companies like Nestle, Hindustan Unilever and Amul visit our college every year and offered good salary package. Eligibility : Candidates must have studied Chemistry as an optional subject at graduation level and candidate must have studied any one of the subjects mentioned at graduation level: Botany/ Zoology/ Genetics/ Microbiology, Biochemistry and Biotechnology with 40%. Admission Process- Admission is through counselling based on the marks obtained in Osmania University Common Entrance Test (OUCET).

Eligibility for M.Sc. in nutrition and dietetics: Candidates aspiring for admission to the course are required to fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria. Graduationor another such equivalent course in a relevant discipline, completed from a recognized university. Graduation needs to have been completed in any of: Home Science Nutrition or Dietetics Food Science Biology Microbiology Clinical Biochemistry Life Sciences BNYS (Naturopathy) BAMS (Ayurveda) A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply for the course on provisional basis.
