    Candidates need to fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria for admission. The criteria is slightly different for Management Quota seats. Below is course-wise eligibility for NIE Institute of Technology:

    CourseCommon Eligibility
    BE

    Class 12 with English as one of the languages with at least 45% aggregate in Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Electronics or Computer (40% aggregate for SC, ST, Cat-I, 2A, 2B and 3B)

    For Management: The aggregate is 55% in Class 12

    MTechBE or equivalent qualification with at least 50% aggregate for all the subjects (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ Category-I)
    MCAUG degree of a minimum of 3 years with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications/ Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ Category-I)
