The CTET Paper 1 is conducted to certify candidates to apply for teaching posts in classes 1& 5 in government schools. The eligibility criteria to apply for Paper 1 of the CTET is to have any of the following:
    1. Senior Secondary ( class 12th) or its equivalent with 50% and Diploma in Elementary Education.
    2. Class 12th or equivalent with 45 percent marks and a Diploma in elementary education
    3. 12th grade with 50 percent marks and a Bachelor of Elementary Education.
    4. Have completed graduation and have a B.Ed. Degree.

You should have passed 10+12with minimum 45%. Or, If graduation is done with 50% marks eligible for paper 2 or, If B.Ed is done now eligible for paper 1and 2.
