What is the eligibility for SOT PDEU?

SOT PDEU offers UG and PG programmes, namely BTech, MTech, BSc and MSc. Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility requirement to apply for any of the programme. Below is course-wise eligibility:

Class 12 with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) in theory and practical of Physics and Mathematics (with Chemistry or Vocational subject as per the guidelines of ACPC)
Candidates with Biology in Class 12 can apply for Biotechnology
MTech
BE/ BTecg with at least 50% aggregate or CPI/ CGPA of 5.5 in 10 point scale in the qualifying degree in relevant subjects
BSc (Hons)
Class 12
MSc
Graduation in Science or Technology with a minimum 50% aggregate of all semesters/ years or CPI 5.5 on 10 point scale or equivalent score
PhD
Master's or bachelor's degree in relevant subjects with at least 55% aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale (50% aggregate for SC / ST / OBC-NCL/ Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section)

SOT PDEU offers six specialisations in its BTech programme. The specialisations include Computer Engineering, Information and Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Business Systems and Electronics and Communication Engineering. SOT PDEU application forms are out in the month of January. Candidates applying for BTech admission at SOT PDEU can start applying from January. The application forms are usually open till end of May, therefore candidates can also apply once Class 12 or JEE Main results are announced.
