For a bachelor's Degree,  candidates must have Physics as a mandatory subject in their 10+2. For a Master, a bachelor's in Sound Engineering or a related degree is required. But, in a lot of colleges in India, the criteria for admissions is different. However, most programmes require a minimum of 10+2 or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% marks. Some institutions may also require applicants to have completed a Diploma or certificate course in sound engineering or a related field.
