    Hi Harshini,

    To be eligible for the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test), the general requirements are:

    1. For Paper 1 (Primary Teachers, Class 1-5):

      • Minimum qualification: 12th grade with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a 1-year NTT course.
      • Alternatively, a graduation degree with a B.Ed. can also be eligible.
    2. For Paper 2 (Upper Primary Teachers, Class 6-8):

      • Minimum qualification: Graduation and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or an equivalent qualification.
