    TGT are employed as teachers to teach class up to X in both central and state government schools. PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) are teachers with post-graduate qualifications and educational training who can teach up to class XII. For example A B.Sc-B.Ed student is eligible for TGT roles in Government and private schools to teach Science subjects up to class X. Whereas, M.Sc-B.Ed is eligible for PGT roles in Government and private schools to teach Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology etc. To classes up to XII classes. PGT have better salary and perks over TGT teachers.

    Trained Graduate Teacher, TGT is an exam organized by almost every state to check the eligibility of teachers in their school. TGT is for candidates who completed their graduation with at least 50% marks and have a B.Ed, BTC or any other training certificate. PGT, Post graduate teacher is for candidates who completed their Masters and their relevant teacher training such as M.Ed.

    TGT are engaged as instructors in both central and state government schools to instruct classes up to X. PGTs (Post Graduate Teachers) are educators with post-graduate degrees and training who are qualified to teach up to class XII. For instance, a student with a B.Sc. B.Ed. Is qualified for TGT positions in public and private schools to teach Science up to class X. While an M.Sc. B.Ed. Qualifies you to teach subjects like Biology Chemistry math, and Physics as a PGT in public and private schools. Attend classes through the XIIth grade. PGT teachers have higher pay and benefits than TGT teachers.

    TGT or Trained Graduate Teacher exams can be taken by candidates who have completed their graduation and are deemed to obtain a degree. Ideally, the candidates who have successfully completed B.Com, BA and B.Sc are qualified to take the exams. On the other hand, PGT exams are a step higher and require the candidates to have successfully completed the post graduate degree- B.Com, BA, B.Sc etc. Both these exams are conducted to make oneself eligible for teaching roles in private and public schools.

    TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) as the name suggests, is a Graduate who is trained in teaching. They are meant to be teaching classes up to 8th Standard. PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) is moreover a post graduate having skills of teaching. They are meant to be teaching classes up to 12th Standard. This test is primarily qualifying in nature and is mandatory for aspiring teachers willing to teach in government schools run by central and states governments.
