Generally, a flight navigator is responsible for planning the course that will take an aircraft to a location in the least amount of time without compromising its safety and that of its passengers.

If you want to be an airline navigator, you should have any Bachelor's degree in aircraft, aviation and aeronautical engineering. You need to clear the physical fitness, which is the utmost important.

To become certified as a Flight Navigator, the individual must be at least 21 years old and have a medical Certificate. He or she must have both training in flight navigation and practical experience. Passing written and practical tests are required as well as having a current medical Certificate.

You must complete Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Maths and Physics. You must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible for a Student Pilot License, 17 for a Private Pilot License, and 18 for a Commercial Pilot License.
