    Hi Payal,
    Generally, a flight navigator is responsible for planning the course that will take an aircraft to a location in the least amount of time without compromising its safety and that of its passengers.
    A flight navigator also has to keep the plane on course once in the air. And that aspect of the job has not changed. They are still responsible for getting a plane from one point on the map to another.
    Navigators today rely on global positioning systems and inertial navigation systems. They just have to punch in the coordinates of where they want to go, and most planes today can get there almost without any human help.

    This is a high profile job. For this, you should fiscally fit the height of 172 cm, weight of 65 kg and chest should be 90 cm up. For this you should have 75% in physics, chemistry and maths and 60% in English. Your age should less than 25 years. For SC, ST and OBC category, there is some subsidy given.
    You should be mentally fit. To join this, you should appear in SSC exam. There has a preliminary, then mains followed by an interview.

    If you want to be an airline navigator, you should have any Bachelor’s degree in aircraft, aviation and aeronautical engineering. You need to clear the physical fitness, which is the utmost important.

    Eligibility to be an airline navigator to become certified as an airline Navigator is given below:
    The individual must be at least 21 years old and have a medical Certificate. The candidate should have a confidence in their work. He or she must have both training in flight navigation and practical experience. Passing written and practical tests are required as well as having a current medical Certificate. Thank you so much.

    To become certified as a Flight Navigator, the individual must be at least 21 years old and have a medical Certificate.     Airline navigation is a high-profile job. For this you must be physically fit and have height of 172 cm, weight of 65 kg and chest should be 90cm up. Other Eligibility for an airline navigator - you must have completed 16 years of age. You must have passed class XII with English. You must have a medical Certificate of fitness. You must have security clearance and a bank guarantee of rupees ten thousand is required.

    You must complete Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Maths and Physics. You must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible for a Student Pilot License, 17 for a Private Pilot License, and 18 for a Commercial Pilot License.
