    DAV College, Chandigarh has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

    B.Sc.Provided that a candidate would offer any science subject, including Mathematics, only if he/she has passed that subject in the qualifying exam OR qualifies the subject as a deficient/additional subject from the concerned Board/Council in the supplementary examination, subsequent to the admission.
    MBA/PGDMA candidate who has Post Graduate Degree in any discipline of the university has been recognized by the syndicate as equivalent thereto, with not less than 45% marks in aggregate. or A pass in final examination conducted by a) Institute of Chartered Accounts of India or b) Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or Institute of Cost and Management Accounts incorporated by Royal Charter, London or c)Institute of Companies Secretaries of India or d) AMIE examination with at least 50% marks are also eligible to apply
    PG DiplomaThe candidate who has a Postgraduate Degree in any Discipline of the university or a degree of any other university which has been recognized by the syndicate as equivalent to thereto, are eligible to apply.
    UG DiplomaCandidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.
    PGDCACandidate must have Graduation in the mentioned course with the above-mentioned marks or any other examination recognized by the syndicate as equivalent.
    M.ComCandidates completed Post graduation with 50% marks from any recognized institute/university are also eligible to apply. OR Candidates Passed in the final examination conducted by (a) The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, (b) The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or Englandand (c) the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. OR Candidates passed AMIE examination with 50% marks or more after having passed the diploma examination with 60% marks or above and have atleast 5 years research / teaching or professional experience
    M.Sc.50% weightage will be given to the score in entrance test & 50% to the score in the qualifying examination.
    BBACandidate must have passed 10+2 with the above-mentioned marks from a recognized board. Also, 5% Weightage will be given to the students who have passed the qualifying examination with atleast 3 commerce subjects e.g. Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Banking & Trade, Commercial Geography, Office Management, Auditing, Computer Applications, Information Technology.
    B.VocCandidate must have passed 10+2 with Science stream from a recognized board.
    B.A.The students who are not domiciled in Punjab and have not studied Punjabi up to 10th class/ wards of defence personnel and central government employees who are transferred on all India basis/ foreigners have the option to take History and Culture of Punjab (HCP) in lieu of Punjabi as compulsory subject in B.A.
    B.ComA student who has secured at least 50% marks in B.Com - I shall be eligible to offer Honours in B.Com II. The Honours examination shall consist of two papers out of which paper I shall be taken along with the lInd year exam and paper II with the final year exam.
    M.A.Candidate must have Graduation with the above-mentioned marks and obtaining at least 45 percent marks in the subject of Postgraduate course. or B.A. with Honours in the subject of the Postgraduate course or B.Sc. Hons. School course.
    BCACandidate must have Mathematics as one of the subject in 10th.
    B.A. B.EdCandidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized school/board.
