Defence Institute of Advanced Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: <table><tr><th>Courses</th><th>Eligibility</th><tr><td>M.Sc.</td><td>Candidates having Associate Membership of the following professional bodies will also be eligible for admission to the M.S. programme of their parent discipline provided they have passed both part A and part B of the Membership examinations with a good academic record. : The Institution of Engineers (India) (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and Communications), The Aeronautical society of India, The Indian Institute of Metals, The Indian Institute of chemical Engineers, The Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.The whole mentioned eligibility is for sponsored category candidates.</td></tr><tr><td>PG Diploma</td><td>Candidates passed basic graduation in any branch of Science and engineering from recognised university or institution are eligible to apply.</td></tr><tr><td>M.E./M.Tech</td><td>Candidate must have passed Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline with minimum of 60% marks for GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC or at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10- point scale) and 55% marks in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates or 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) from a recognised university/Institute.
