GEC Polytechnic has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| After 10th Diploma | Candidate passed 10th class/equivalent conducted by BSE, Odisha/equivalent are eligible to apply. The lower age limit is 14 years and there is no upper age limit. |
