Government Dental College And Hospital, Shimla has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: <table><tr><th>Courses</th><th>Eligibility</th><tr><td>MDS</td><td>Candidate must have secured 50 percentile (40 in case of SC/ST/OBC, including PWD of SC/ST/OBC & 45 in case of UR PWD candidates) in NEET- MDS 2023.</td></tr><tr><td>BDS</td><td>Candidate must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English individually and must have obtained mentioned percentage taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology. In respect of PwBD candidates as per NMC and DCI Regulations, the minimum marks in the qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 40% instead of 50%. Candidates who have passed Class 12 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for theNational Eligibility Cum Entrance Test'.
