    The eligibility for admission to the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) for UG/PG courses is as follows:

    Integrated M.Sc. Program:

    • Candidates need to qualify the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 60% aggregate score in the relevant subjects.
    • Candidates seeking admission to the Integrated M.Sc. programme need to appear for the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST)

    Integrated Ph.D. Program:

    • For the Integrated Ph.D. program, candidates have to clear the Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) or Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) conducted by IIT

    NISER - National Institute of Science Education and Research has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
    CoursesEligibility
    B.Sc.Candidate have to appear in NEST is: 60% marks for general category and 55% for SC/ST/PD category in aggregate (or equivalent grade).
    Students who have passed the Class XII qualifying examination in last two years or appearing in that year are eligible to apply.
    The candidates must not be more than 20 years of age; this limit is relaxable as per the Central Government norms for SC/ST/PD candidates.
