NITM has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
| Courses | Eligibility |
|---|---|
| PG Diploma | No age limit for candidate who are in service or sponsored candidate or foreign students. Candidate should be proficient in English |
| Certificate | Qualification will be relaxed for the candidates who are belonging to tea industry |
