RIE Ajmer - Regional Institute of Education, Rajasthan has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| M.Ed | Candidate must have completed B.Ed./Shikshashastri, B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed./B.EL.Ed./ D.EL.Ed.With PG at least mentioned marks for general category (Male and Female Both) and at least 50% marks for SBC, physically challenged, widow or divorcee women candidates of Rajasthan. |
| B.Ed | Candidate must have completed Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree with at least mentioned marks for general category candidate and at least 45% marks for SBC, physically challenged, widow or divorcee women candidates of Rajasthan. Studied two school teaching subject for at least two years at his/her Bachelor's or Master's Degree Examination. |
| B.Sc. | Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised school/board. |
