• Internships (Mid-Program): For the PGDM program, students typically undertake their mandatory industrial internships during the summer break, which is usually after the second semester/trimester. For BBA students, internships begin around the fifth semester. These often lead to pre-placement offers.
• Final Placements Start (Third/Fourth Semester): The main campus recruitment drives for final job offers generally commence in the third or early fourth semester  (around the start of the final year) of the postgraduate programs (PGDM/MBA).
• Ongoing Process (Final Year): The placement process continues throughout the final year until all students are placed. GIBS aims for a 100% placement rate. 

1. Company Registration: Interested companies register with the GIBS Placement Cell, providing their requirements and preferred dates.
2. Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs): Companies visit the campus to conduct presentations, detailing their company profile, job roles, packages, and selection criteria. This provides an opportunity for students to interact with company representatives and clarify doubts.
3. Student Registration & Shortlisting: Students interested in a particular company/role submit their resumes. The companies then shortlist candidates based on criteria such as academic performance, test scores, and resumes.
4. Selection Rounds: Shortlisted candidates go through various assessments, which may include:
   • Written tests (aptitude, technical, etc.)
   • Group Discussions (GD)
   • Personal Interviews (PI) (technical and HR rounds)
5. Offer Letters: Successful candidates receive job offers. The college has specific guidelines regarding job offers, sometimes allowing students who have already secured one offer to apply for "dream jobs" under certain conditions.

• Entrance Exam Score: 20%
