What is the eligibility to get job as lecturer in B.Ed colleges? Is it mandatory to clear National eligibility test?

I have done MA in Geography and have completed B.Ed with good marks. Now I am planning to pursue M.Ed/M.A in Education from IGNOU/Netaji Subhash open university(Distance learning). With this am I eligible to get job as a lecturer in B.Ed colleges? Or I need to pass National eligibility test(NET) ?
