To pursue a B.Tech in Automobile Engineering at Chandigarh University, students must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one additional subject like Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology, Informatics Practice

The eligibility requirements for every Automobile Engineering course are different based on the course level. Some popular course type with their conditions are given here. Take a look

Course Levels	Eligibility Criteria
Diploma in Automobile Engineering	Candidates should have completed Class 10 with decent marks in Science subjects.
Certificate in Automobile Engineering	Completion of Class 10 or Class 12 with PCM subjects with at least 50 to 60% marks.
BTech Automobile Engineering/B.E. in Automobile Engineering/BTech in Automotive Design Engineering	Candidates must have completed their Class 12 from a recognized national or state-level education board. They must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. They must have secured a minimum of 50 to 70% marks in the board exams.
MTech in Automobile Engineering	Candidates who have completed a Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 55% marks.
Ph.D. in Automobile Engineering	Candidates must have completed MTech in Automobile Engineering or a relevant field with at least 55 to 65% marks.
