    Designed as a skill enable program, the students actually learn by doing and progress from basics to higher order skills like installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electronic equipment. Diploma graduates can start entrepreneurial ventures or can pursue higher studies.

    To get an Admission into Diploma in Electronics and Communication engineering is as follows:--

    Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)

    Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent.

    Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam)
    Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10th (with Mathematics, Science and English) or equivalent.
    For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
    (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants)
    (10% relaxation to outstanding Sports Persons (i.e. A/A+ category as per Sports Scholarship), Subject to verification from Selection committee* of the University)
  • Dear Karan, the eligibility for taking admission in Diploma (ECE) Lateral Entry (Duration - 2 years) is "50% in 10+2 (Non-Medical). Since, your 12th is from commerce background, you won't be eligible for the same. But, if you seek to take admission on the basis of your matriculation exam, you may get the admission in Diploma ECE (Duration 3years). The eligibility for 3 year diploma is "50% with English ,Maths, Science". The fee for the same is Rs.24500 per semester before 31st of May,2016 and Rs.26500 per semester thereafter.
