What is the eligibility to pursue distance B.Ed course from Annamalai University (Distance Education), Tamil Nadu?

Dear aspirant, As per NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary or higher secondary schools in Tamilnadu, recognized by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible for admission into Annamalai University Distance Education B.Ed course. The students must have a graduate degree from a recognized university under 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with the main subject in Part III, namely Tamil (B.A., B.Lit.), English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Microbiology, History, and Geography are required to be eligible for admission. Students with post graduation qualification in Economics, Commerce and Home Science are also eligible for the programme. Students who have studied cross major subjects in postgraduate level are not allowed for admission. Students who have secured a direct UG & PG degree are also not eligible for admission. Better go for regular education. Eligibility Criteria for doing B.Ed is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent OR Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. or B.E. with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level) 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as applicable. Some institutes conduct entrance exam where as in some institutes You can even apply directly for admission.A few good universities are: Delhi University, Delhi, Lovely Professional University- Punjab , VIT University Tamilnadu, Jamia Millia Islamia University Delhi,NMIMS Mumbai, Anna University Tamil Nadu, University of Mumbai, University of Kolkata, Pune University, University of Hydrabad, Delhi University, AMU, The Maharaj Sayaji Rao University, JNU Delhi. Annamalai Distance learning university doesn't offer B.Ed, it is available in regular mode at Annamalai. If you are looking for B.Ed then you should go for IGNOU else foreign universities are the other options for you.
