    The eligibility criteria for PhD is:
    Masters degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate.
    5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / specially abled candidates.
    Selection Criteria: An applicant will be short listed for interview on the basis of his/ her score in the entrance examination LPUNEST (Ph.D.).
    The final selection for admission in Ph.D. will be based on the performance in the Interview subject to scoring minimum marks.

    The eligibility criteria to pursue Ph.D from LPU is minimum 55% of marks in your master's degree.You will have qualify National level tests such as GATE/CSIR-NET/SLET or LPUNEST conducted by LPU etc. if you qualify written ,then you will be called for interview.

    After completing your masters with min 55% you need to qualify a tests such as GATE/CSIR-NET/ LPUNEST/NEST /SLET etc. if you qualify written ,then you ll be called for interview. In some university you ll be required to undergo their separate written test and interview. Phd is offered in two modes:Part Time and Full Time.
    Part Time: A candidate has to attend classes on weekends.
    Full Time: A candidate has to attend regular classes.

    Hi,
    Masters degree with 55% marks in aggregate in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview.
    Note:
    Applicants having relevant Post Graduation degree in Engineering are only allowed to apply for the Ph.D. in engineering disciplines. e.g. applicants with M.Tech/ME in CSE would apply for Ph.D. (CSE), and applicants with MCA or M.Sc. (CS/IT) the degree should apply for Ph.D (Computer Applications).
    The applicants with masters degrees in distance education or online mode are not allowed to take admission in the Ph.D. Engineering Programmes.
