Dear student, The eligibility criteria for PhD is: Masters degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate. 5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / specially abled candidates. Selection Criteria: An applicant will be short listed for interview on the basis of his/ her score in the entrance examination LPUNEST (Ph.D.). The final selection for admission in Ph.D. will be based on the performance in the Interview subject to scoring minimum marks. Exemption from Entrance Test Applicants who have qualified UGC (NET /JRF) / CSIR (NET / JRF) / SLET / GATE / GPAT / ICAR Teacher Fellowship or cleared M.Phil program (In regular mode only) are exempted from LPUNEST (Ph.D.). IMP: Exemption is for LPUNEST (Ph.D.) only but the applicant will have to fill the LPUNEST (Ph.D.) form and appear for the Interview. The applicants are required to bring the original documents against which exemption is sought at the time of interview. Since you have not mentioned your percentage. You are required to mail your documents of your diploma on admissions@lpu.co.in, then the coordinator from LPU will help you out in the process.

The eligibility criteria to pursue Ph.D from LPU is minimum 55% of marks in your master's degree.You will have qualify National level tests such as GATE/CSIR-NET/SLET or LPUNEST conducted by LPU etc. if you qualify written ,then you will be called for interview. In some university you ll be required to undergo their separate written test and interview. Phd is offered in two modes:Part Time and Full Time. Part Time: A candidate has to attend classes on weekends. Full Time: A candidate has to attend regular classes.

Hi, Masters degree with 55% marks in aggregate in a relevant discipline or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST and Interview. Note: Applicants having relevant Post Graduation degree in Engineering are only allowed to apply for the Ph.D. in engineering disciplines. e.g. applicants with M.Tech/ME in CSE would apply for Ph.D. (CSE), and applicants with MCA or M.Sc. (CS/IT) the degree should apply for Ph.D (Computer Applications). The applicants with masters degrees in distance education or online mode are not allowed to take admission in the Ph.D. Engineering Programmes.
