First of all I would like to mention that choose that institute/university which is COA approved because the programme requires such approval. Last year one of my niece was interested to take admission in B.Arch and after lot of inquiry we finalised LPU because of the following: #COA Approved courses #School of Architecture that provides differential programme outcome from basic to the advanced one #School offers Core Courses, Supporting Courses, Skill Development Courses, Management Courses, Elective Courses #The curriculum is benchmarked against the most renowned institutions of the world #Focus is on application oriented teaching with live architecture design projects, extensive model and field work We were told the career prospects of the course which will open candidates doors to government. Architect's offices of different state and universities, In government. Engineering offices like P. W. D. , Public Health, Irrigation, Town Planning Corporation offices, Teaching jobs etc. I came to know that due to COVID-19 the university has mellowed down the eligibility norms and has kept the eligibility as: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English and also 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Pass with 60% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognised by Central/ State government. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) There are three conditions in eligibility file for B.Arch. , 60% in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry &amp; Mathematics, and also 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry &amp; Mathematics, and NATA 2020/JEE Main (Paper-II) or State Level Test (as/ if allowed by statutory body for 2020-21). LPU is the only university which offers 3d printing and Laser cutting techniques for the students. Internships start from 9th semester. Placement coordinator assists in placements.
