what is the elligiblity for SMU BCA if you are a 3 yrs Cs diploma (10+3) can I get into 3rd sem direct?

While posting this I did find the smu site for BCA http://online.smude.edu.in says provision for direct entry to 3rd sem if U r a 3Diploma in IT / CS from a State Board of Technical Education can any any one confirm this ? Do I need need to write sem-1/sem-2 exams aswell ? Thanks
